This is the catalogue of an exhibition held at the Westfälisches Landesmuseum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte, Münster. The catalogue raisonné lists 569 authentic watercolors and gouaches, most illustrated in b&w. There is a concordance to Vriesen (1957), plus an appendix, concordance, and supplement to Heiderich's 1993 catalogue raisonné of the drawings: "August Macke Zeichnungen Werkverzeichnis," as well as a concordance to her earlier study on the Sketchbooks: "August Macke, die Skizzenbuecher" (1987).
