In the “G.sta and Paul” exhibition, the old masters of G.sta
Serlachius (1876–1942) enter into a dialogue with works of
another passionate collector, Paul Sinebrychoff (1859–1917).
Dialogue is held not only between the collections but also between
individual pairs of works of art. The collectors were interested
in the same artists. Paintings of six artists from the 16th
and 17th centuries, found in both collections, are presented
side by side in the exhibition. The artists are Alessandro Allori,
David Teniers the younger, Frans Hals, Anthonisz van Ravesteyn,
Jan Verspronck and Cornelis de Vos. A total of 55 paintings
will be exhibited.
