The present publication is the culmination of a catalogue begun soon after the artist's death in 1972 by Juan Manuel Bonet and Miriam Fernández Santiago. The current publication was completed under the direction of Alfonso de la Torre. The catalogue was compiled with the close cooperation of the artist's widow, Elvireta Escobio. The chronological catalogue raisonné lists over 542 works, and includes not only paintings, but also ceramics, tapestries, and stage designs.
