The catalogue raisonné was published in conjunction with an exhibition held at the Museum für Gestaltung, Zurich. The catalogue was issued as a slipcased set with a booklet titled "Richard Paul Lohse, Graphic Design 1928-1988", containing an English translation of the texts. After introductory material, there is a discussion of the work from 1930-1950; Lohse's technique; and his commercial, book and exhibition display designs. The publication also includes a timeline and an index.
