In 2004, the centenary of Dali's birth, the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí launched the first part of the online catalogue raisonné of his paintings. The catalogue is divided into five parts. The first part, covering 1910-1930 was published in 2004. In 2007 the second section covering 1931-1939, was published. The third part (1940-1951) and the fourth period (1952-1964) were published in 2011 & 2014, respectively. The fifth and final part (1965-1983) was launched in 2017. In total, the online catalogue raisonné lists approximately 1,000 paintings by the artist. The online navigation tool has also been updated in format and design to make the online catalogue more accessible.
