The first volume is based on the artist's personal inventory of works. Raza included information on stock numbers, titles, year, medium and dimensions of approximately 800 works executed from 1958-1971. The publication illustrates approximately 270 of them. The Foundation notes that Raza did not inventory every work he produced during this period, and their research is ongoing.
