First published as a series, 1954-1957. Enlarged edition was revised by Eva Benesch, and contains Otto Benesch's additions, made from 1957 until his death in 1964. Contains separate catalogues of drawings by other masters reworked by Rembrandt, drawings by pupils corrected by Rembrandt, copies after unknown originals, and questionable attributions.
