This is the revised and enlarged edition of the original 1874 publication, which only included engravings up until 1820. The catalogue is divided into three parts, organized by subject: male portraits; female portraits; and fancy, historical and miscellaneous pictures. A revised and expanded edition was published in 1973 (Amsterdam : G.W. Hissink) as part of the Scripta Artis Monographia series.
