This is the revised English edition of "Die Gemälde von Lucas Cranach" (Berlin: Deutscher Verein für Kunstwissenschaft, 1932). The authors state in the introduction that the catalogue does not include all of Cranach's paintings. Although not a catalogue raisonné per se, the publication is one of the most thorough surveys of Cranach's work.
