The catalogue was published to coincide with the "Ellsworth Kelly: Prints and Paintings" exhibition held at the Los Angeles County Museum. In addition to the introductory texts, the catalogue of the prints is divided in two parts. Volume 1 contains prints no. 1-179, and Vol. 2 catalogues prints no. 180-336.
