Based on the archive Bourgeois donated to the Museum of Modern Art, NY as a complete record of her printmaking from the 1930s until the publication date (1994). The publication includes an index of titles, printers and publishers, plus exhibition history and a chronology of the principal events in the artist's life. The catalogue raisonné presents about 150 prints in their various states by the artist. Deborah Wye's essay is entitled, "A Drama of the Self: Louise Bourgeois as Printmaker."
