The catalogue raisonné is drawn on the extensive holdings (objects and archives) of the Vitra Museum in Weil am Rhein, and is associated with circulating exhibitions held at the Vitra Design Museums in Weil am Rhein and Berlin, plus later exhibitions in Europe and the Far East. Different editions seem to have been issued for some of the later venues.
